Living Organized, A Book Review

I have been browsing through one of my favorite books. There are some quotes in here I want to share. I encourage you to read this book if you need to get on tract or just want some inspiration in keeping your home organized and clean. There is nothing like a clean home and really organized. Even if you use a maid service, you can benefit from Sandra's "Living Organized" book.

Felton's Laws Expanded
You will always find something in the last place you look.
You will remember that you forgot to take out the trash when the garbage truck is two doors away.
Don't call the police because your house has been vandalized until you are really sure.
The difference between "I can" and "I can't" is often "I will."
An ounce of "now" is worth a pound of "later."
There's never time to put it away, but there's always time to look for it.

Another quote from the chapter: "What, A Messie Decorator?"
"Inspiration seldom comes to those wearing psychological blinders against their everyday clutter. Before a Messie can decide what does go into her house, she needs to eliminate everything that definitely doesn't go. Dead houseplants, a worn-out chair you've put off covering, stained carpets, and overflowing wastebaskets-all these distractions get between us and our MAGIC ROOM."

Being organized is always a "work in progress." The picture, above, is my bathroom. This is my favorite room to enter "clean". Fresh flowers always add a nice "welcome" as does bath salts, gels, etc.
